Reconditioned totes
Ninety-three
percent of the tote,
none of the factory.
A reconditioned tote does the same job as a new one for a third of the price and roughly a thirteenth of the embodied carbon. This is our volume line and the heart of the yard.
Typical saving vs new
40–70%
depending on grade and volume

What 'reconditioned' means here
Eight things that happen before it ships
The word is unregulated, which is why we list the steps instead of using it as a slogan.
Logged & photographed
Six angles including the marking panel, filed against the cage ID.
Last contents verified
Paperwork cross-checked against residue. No paperwork, no wash — the bottle goes to regrind.
Washed to chemistry
Rinse, then caustic or steam depending on what was inside, then rinse.
Valve & gasket replaced
New 2" outlet valve and seal as standard, not as an upsell.
Cage straightened
Tube press, weld repair, foot replacement, galvanising touch-up.
Leak-held 30 minutes
Under pressure. A unit that weeps goes back to the bay, not onto a truck.
Graded & priced
Borderline units are graded down. Always.
Passport stencilled
Cage ID applied and the file closed, ready for you to look up.

Price steps at 4, 10, 20 and 40 units. A full truckload of 275s is 44 single-stacked, or 40 for 330s. Mixed loads are fine and common.

Grades we sell
Six grades, one honest ladder
Our grade names mean the same thing every time. If a unit sits between two grades it is listed as the lower one.
| Grade | Code | Cleaning | Typical use | Price band |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Food Grade | FG | Only ever held food-safe contents; hot-water or caustic wash, inspected, sealed | Edible liquids, maple syrup, brewing, drinking-water storage | Premium |
| Rebottled | RB | Brand-new HDPE bottle dropped into a refurbished cage | Anything needing a virgin interior at reused-cage cost | Premium |
| Washed / Triple-Rinsed | W3 | Three-stage rinse, interior drained and dried, valve replaced | Industrial chemicals, soaps, coolants, fertilizer | Standard |
| Technical / Industrial | TG | Single rinse, residue-free to the eye, labelled with last contents | Non-potable water, wash fluids, waste collection | Value |
| Unwashed / As-Is | AI | No cleaning. Sold with the last-contents disclosure only | Ballast, erosion control, scrap feedstock | Lowest |
| UN/DOT Recertified | UN | Reconditioned, leak-tested and re-marked under a licensed program | Regulated hazmat shipping by road, rail or sea | Premium + |
