Privacy notice

What this site is
IBC Recycle is a referral service. Quotes are fulfilled by partner suppliers in our network. This site takes quote requests and passes them on. It does not sell, buy, store or deliver totes itself, and it does not take payment.
What we collect
Only what you type into the quote form: first and last name, email address, phone number, city, state, ZIP or postal code, company (optional), quantity, product type, service requested, grade, and your message. The form also records the URL of the page you submitted from, plus a timestamp and a hidden field used only to filter out automated spam. Nothing is collected passively beyond what is described under “Cookies and analytics” and “Logs” below.
Why we collect it
To pass your request to partner suppliers who can prepare a quote, and so that a partner supplier can follow up with you about it. Your contact details are what let them reply; the rest of the form tells them what to quote.
Who receives it
- The 1DB lead platform, which receives form submissions and routes them to partner suppliers. Submissions are sent from our server over TLS; API credentials are never exposed in the browser.
- Partner suppliers in our network, who receive your request in order to prepare a quote and contact you about it. Once a partner supplier has your request, their own privacy practices apply to how they use it.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website and processes request metadata in the normal course of serving pages.
- PostHog, which provides our product analytics. It records page views, clicks, scroll depth, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, and device information, so that we can see which pages are useful. Traffic is routed through our own proxy domain rather than directly to a third-party host, and we do not create identified person profiles for anonymous visitors.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertising networks. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
Cookies and analytics
We run PostHog product analytics, which sets a first-party cookie to recognise a returning browser and measure which pages are read. We use it to see what is useful and what is ignored — nothing more. We also record one custom event, contact_form_submitted, when a form is sent successfully, so that we know which page produced an enquiry.
What we do not run: advertising networks, retargeting pixels, cross-site identifiers, data brokers, or any tracker that follows you off this site. If that ever changes we will say so on this page before it does, not after. Browser do-not-track and global privacy control signals are respected, and blocking the analytics domain does not break anything on this site.
Logs
Our host retains ordinary server request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent — for operational security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a short rolling window and are not used to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept as long as needed to handle them and for ordinary business records, then deleted. Partner suppliers who received your request keep their copy under their own policies.
Your choices
To ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, send a request through the quote form and say so in the message field. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with specific data rights, those rights apply and we will honour them regardless of where you live — it is simpler to treat everyone the same way. For a copy a partner supplier holds, you can also ask that supplier directly.
Security
All traffic is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are processed server-side; API keys and credentials are held as server-side environment secrets and are never present in any page delivered to your browser.
Children
This is a business-to-business site about industrial containers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Contact
The quote form is the only way to contact us about this notice. There is no phone line and no email address; written requests get written answers.
